Strengths:
Aundrae Allison has a solid combination of size and speed. During
stretches of his career Allison has elevated his game and has been a
dominating force on the gridiron. Playing for East Carolina, Allison
was not blessed with much of a supporting cast, but he still made
the best of a bad situation and based on his performance and workout
numbers, Aundrae Allison is a solid mid-level WR prospect.
Weaknesses:
Aundrea Allison was very inconsistent throughout his college career.
On several occasions Allison would follow up an amazing performance
with one that would be best described as sub-par. It is also a bit
concerning when a prospect sees his numbers decline as he
progresses. In his last game as a college WR, he had a lackluster
performance in the Papajohns.com bowl, so his momentum was somewhat
stymied after that performance.
Overall:
Solid, but not spectacular. Good talent, but not elite. Aundrae
Allison is going to need some time to adapt his game to the National
Football League. He has some upside, but he will probably only be as
good as the offensive system he is in. He is going to need some work
on route running and developing consistency in his game, but he is
worth a mid round selection.
