TE1 - Greg Olsen, Miami Greg OlsenOfficial Bio

NFL.com Profile
Height: 6-6
Weight: 254
40 yard dash: 4.51
Grade: 91
Strengths:
Olsen is an outstanding athlete for the tight end position. He is a downfield threat, with 4.51 40 speed and good acceleration. He runs precise routes and is skilled at finding the soft spot in the zone. He has good hands and should be an immediate threat in the passing game at the NFL level.
Weaknesses:
Olsen could stand to add bulk and strength to play full time in the NFL. While he has acceptable blocking technique, his lack of strength prevents him from being a top in line blocker. He has a few durability concerns and his frame is going to add to those concerns.
Overall:
Greg Olsen was one of the biggest winners at the 2007 NFL Scouting Combine. His 4.51 speed and performance in the pass catching drills, demonstrated that he has the athleticism to be a weapon in the passing game. His playmaking ability negates concerns about his blocking, especially in a weak tight end crop. Olsen is likely to be used as Dallas Clark was by the Indianapolis Colts in the 2006 season, lining up often in the slot to create mismatches.
