Strengths: John Wendling is an outstanding athlete who posses a unique combination of size and top end speed and athleticism. He is a natural playmaker with great ball skills who has a lot of experience leading the Wyoming Cowboys. He hits hard and aggressively. Weaknesses: Despite his impressive workout numbers, Wendling does not excel in coverage, as he is stiff throughout the hips and lacks the agility to handle receivers. Wendling must improve his tackling technique, as he often takes poor angles and misses tackles. Wendling also has a tendency to try to make arm tackles. Overall: Wendling in an intriguing prospect because of his size and top end speed. However, he does not play up to his measurables yet.
