RB Rankings

RB1 - Adrian Peterson Adrian PetersonOfficial Bio
Height: 6-2
Weight: 219
40 yard dash: 4.40
Grade: 97
Strengths:
Peterson is an excellent down hill runner, with a rare combination of power and speed. He has the burst to get to the outside, but at the same time Peterson is an excellent short yardage back with a great nose for the end zone.
Weaknesses:
The biggest knock against Peterson is his durability. Peterson has missed time the previous two years, including a broken collarbone in 2006. Peterson runs with an upright running style, which is leading to scouts questioning rather or not he can hold up for a sixteen game NFL season.
Overall:
Peterson is perhaps the best pure running back to enter the draft in recent years. He still needs refinement in blocking and pass catching, but whatever team that drafts him will have an instant playmaker on offense.
