OT6 - Ryan Harris, Notre Dame |

NFL.com
Profile |
Height: 6-5
Weight: 299
40 yard dash: 5.09
Grade: 75 |
Strengths:
Ryan Harris was a four year starter at the Mecca of college
football, the University of Notre Dame. He is an extremely
experienced offensive tackle prospect, who has the benefit of
playing against the best teams that college football has to offer.
Ryan Harris is a OT prospect who has excellent fundamentals and he
is one of the quicker offensive lineman prospects entering the 2007
NFL Draft.
Weaknesses:
In a day in age in the National Football League where the vast
majority of offensive lineman are huge behemoths who weigh in at
excess of 300 pounds, Ryan Harris is just under 300 pounds. He is
never going to be a player who just drives opposing defenders off
the ball and he must bulk up to become an every down lineman at the
next level. Ryan Harris must develop a nastiness to his game to
fully succeed in the National Football League.
Overall:
Ryan Harris would have his most immediate success on an offensive
line that relies on quicker, smallish offensive lineman, most likely
in a zone blocking scheme. If Ryan Harris is drafted by a team that
does not employ such an offensive scheme than the biggest detriment
to his success will be his lack of overall size. That being said, he
is still a solid offensive tackle prospect who would provide solid
value in the 3rd round of the NFL Draft.
