Strengths: One of the top defensive recruits in the country as a prep, Abiamiri started 30 games for Notre Dame. He has a fairly solid frame, but needs to add bulk. He has pretty good strength with the ability to handle most blockers one on one. Weaknesses: Abiamiri does not have the the bulk to handle double teams and can be lost in the pile. He plays way too high at times and lets the offensive linemen take him out of the play. Abiamiri lacks ideal size but also lacks the speed you would like to see from a rush end. He needs to improve his technique if he expects to get to the passer at the NFL level. There are some durability concerns. Overall: Abiamiri is a player rated higher on most boards, but the War Room Report feels he does not have any qualities that separate him from the pack. A player with only average strength and speed, Abiamiri will find the transition to the NFL level difficult. If he can improve his hand technique and refine his pass rushing moves, Abiamiri could be a functional NFL player.
