C3 - Dan Mozes, West Virginia Dan Mozes

NFL.com Profile

Height: 6-2
Weight: 305
40 yard dash: 5.36
Grade: 70
Strengths:
Dan Mozes is an undersized center prospect, who would be a zone blocking scheme extraordinaire at the NFL level. He plays with an intensity rarely seen, and he is very smart and is a true leader on the interior of the offensive line. Mozes has excellent quickness off the snap of the ball, and is one of those players who always plays until he hears the whistle. His excellent work ethic should help to make sure his game transfers to the National Football League.

Weaknesses:

Weighing at right around 300, Dan Mozes could afford to bulk up to make sure he can handle the strength of defensive players in the National Football League. He has short arms, and played in the “spread” offensive scheme at West Virginia, so there is much concern that he is ONLY ready for a zone blocking offensive scheme. He has had some past injury concerns as well.

Overall:

We have heard all the negative talk about Dan Mozes, but here at the War Room Report, we like Dan Mozes. He has excellent intangibles and not all players play with such leadership qualities and toughness. Although he may be best suited for zone blocking offense, in time, his game could transcend to other offenses as well. The War Room Report is higher on Mozes than most publications, that being said, Dan Mozes should and will be a 4th round selection in the 2007 NFL Draft.
